Uganda Cranes forward Allan Okello bagged a hat trick against Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) United on Saturday to keep Young African’s grip on the title race firm.
Okello gave Young the lead in the 27th minute, converted from the spot to double the advantange at the start of the second half befofe completing his hat trick at the hour mark.
The win means Young remain top of the table on 72 points, two ahead Simba with one game to play. This therefore means, the title will be decided on the final day of the season.
Young Africans will visit JKT while Simba will be at home to already relegated and bottom of the table KMC.
On an individual level, Okello is still in the race for the golden boot. Today’s hat trick takes his tally to 14, one being current top scorer Feisal Salum aka Feitoto.
