Goalkeeper Norman Angufindru has confirmed his departure from SC Villa after four years at the club.
The giant shot stopper took to his social media accounts to confirm his departure, penning down a farewell message.
“From that call when I was almost quitting football to winning my first title, today, I turn a new chapter away from a place I have called home for the past three seasons,” reads the statement.
Angufindru joined the Jogoos in September 2023 from Onduparaka FC and he says he was at crossroads at the time.
“When Villa went for me, I was at crossroads, uncertain, weighed by life off-pitch: nothing was ever making sense but the past three seasons here gave me the best memories I will forever cherish.”
The goalkeeper went ahead to thank the coaches he has worked with at the club, teammates and the fans.
Angufindru fell in pecking order to third choice, being David Lukwago who arrived at the start of last season and Jeans Brady Wokorach.
He becomes the fourth player to leave the club in this transfer window, joining Hassan Mubiru, Charles Lwanga and Misi Diego Ssemugera.
