Kenyan side, AFC Leopards has confirmed the signing of Taddeo Lwanga in the ongoing transfer window.

The development was confirmed today, Monday, July 27, 2026 via the club’s official social media platforms.

“We are delighted to announce the Ugandan International midfielder Taddeo Lwanga has joined AFC Leopards SC from Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC,” the statement partly reads.

Lwanga is a tried and tested defensive midfielder who has played across the region gathering the needed experience to flourish at the Leopards.

His ability to halt opponent’s play but also be in pole position to link the team’s defence to attack makes him a priceless jewel in the Laopards’ middle park.

In the previous season, he played 23 of the 30 league games thus guiding Vipers to the eighth Uganda Premier League title thanks to his hardwork and leadership.

Having finished second, AFC Leopards are building a formidable squad ahead of the highly anticipated encounter but Taddeo’s addition is key to the team’s rebuild.
