Ugandan football forward Resty Kobusobozi has officially called time on her tenure at Lady Doves FC after four impactful years with the club.
Known affectionately to fans as ‘The Silent Assassin,’ the number 9 forward published an emotional letter reflecting on her journey from arriving as a young player with big dreams to becoming an integral part of the team.
In her message, she highlighted the highs, lows, and enduring friendships built over her four-season spell, while also paying tribute to the late club C.E.O., Madam Angeyango Scovia.
Addressing the faithful supporters at Katusabe, Kobusobozi expressed heartfelt gratitude for the unconditional love and energy provided by the fans throughout her time at the club.
She candidly admitted her regret at not being able to bid an in-person farewell during her final appearance, as she was unaware at the time that it would mark her last moment wearing the Lady Doves shirt.
While confirming that her departure comes as she prepares to embrace a new challenge and chapter in her professional career, Kobusobozi affirmed that Lady Doves will always hold a special place in her heart.
Her departure leaves a significant gap in the team’s attack as the club prepares for the upcoming season, with fans eager to see where The Silent Assassin takes her talents next.
