St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde recorded a narrow 64-63 victory over Lukenya Boys School in boys’ Basketball at the on-going 2026 Federation of East African Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) Games.
Lukenya Boys led 22-19 by the climax of the opening quarter. The Ugandans narrowed the game by half-time, triumphing with a basket in the second quarter 12-11.
St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde won the third quarter 21-15 before a tense, rather tense ending where the physical Kenyans triumphed 15-12 but it was the Mukono based school that had the last smile.
Choul Thon had a game high 21 points for the Ugandan ambassadors at the Highlands sports complex courts in Morogoro city.
Mustapha Hamulli, Joseph Ngaya, George Agandi, Sijin Makeng and captain Chut Agok also had meaningful contribution during the physical contest.
For Lukenya Boys, Fortune, Iraku and Atuer were outstanding on the day.
St Cyprian High School Kyabakadde earned their second victory of the championship having opened with a 77-43 win over Tanzania’s Nsumba High School.
The FEASSA Games will be officially opened on Sunday, 16th August 2026 at the historical Jamuhuri stadium in the heart of Morogoro city.
A new partner, East African Development Bank (EADB) will be officially unveiled to the public.
