- Game 6: Uganda vs. Bahrain
- Result: Bahrain 209/6 beat Uganda 204 by 4 wickets
Bahrain inflicted a third defeat on the Cricket Cranes on the final leg of the Challenge League B in Tanzania.
However, the four-wicket loss doesn’t have consequences for the Cricket Cranes because Italy did them a favour by defeating Hong Kong China, who had them in sight and chasing second place.
Uganda batted first, and two half-centuries from Raghav Dhawan (80) and Riazat Ali Shah (61) helped the team score 204 runs, but more significant support from the rest could have pushed the score further.
In the run chase, a 74-run second-wicket stand anchored the run chase for Bahrain, and they remained in the contest without losing regular wickets.
The Cricket Cranes made sure they pushed the game deep, but a well-set Fiaz Ahmed (78 not out) hit the winning runs for Bahrain in the final over.

The Cricket Cranes could only manage wins against hosts Tanzania and Singapore on the final leg, which was just enough to finish second and earn promotion to the next round of qualifiers.
However, it was a campaign that was underwhelming in performance, with a lot of the top players failing in clutch games. Uganda will need to work hard for them to have any success at the next level.
