Ashiraf “Neymar” Kigozi was the hero for CATDA Football Club, scoring with two minutes to play in their 1-0 home win over Young Elephants Academy at the Hamz stadium on Sunday, 11th October 2026.

Kigozi came off the bench to make the difference during the well-attended match with a well struck shot from 25 yards in the 88th minute.

Before the goal, CATDA were culprits with several missed goal scoring opportunities including a penalty blasted over by captain Martin Kikambi.

Lanky forward Raraq Takuba, Brian Omirambe, Isaac Ssenyunja and fast paced winger Jabira Rwothomio had all missed on various occasions.

Meanwhile, Volcanoes secured their second victory of the campaign, edging Iganga United 1-0 at the Iganga Ssaza grounds.

Habibu Oloya scored the all-important goal in the 73rd minute.

The West Nile derby between Onduparaka and Paidha Black Angels had the latter triumph 2-1 in Arua.

Paidha Black Angels has now won all their opening three games of the season.

Amus College and Calvary played to a non-scoring draw in Yumbe, West Nile.

Kiyinda Boys earned a 2-0 home win over Pakwach Young Stars at the Bertham City Recreation playground.

Edrine Lutaaya and Douglas Ochoko were on target for Kiyinda Boys with two late strikes in the 87th and 90th minutes respectively.

Two clubs will be promoted at the end of the 2026/27 FUFA Big League season.
