Fred Kajoba’s Bright Stars will come out blazing as they seek to avenge the first-round defeat when they host Police FC at Champions stadium, Mwererwe.
Simon Mbaziira strike won the reverse fixture at Lugogo in a game the hosts dominated despite finding Bright Stars in great form.
With the two games ending in stalemates last season, Bright Stars will be eager to put one over the Cops.
The two sides come into the game on the back of wins; Bright Stars won a big one against URA 1-0 at Namboole thanks to a goal by team skipper Nelson Senkatuka while Juma Balinya double helped Police edge boggy side Onduparaka 2-1 at Lugogo.
It will be interesting to see how the two players fare on Friday with Balinya seeking to stretch his goal tally beyond 19 while Senkatuka would love to score in successive games after a dry spell.
Police are 9th with 36 points while Bright Stars are one place below with two points adrift.
