FUBA League: Feisty and Gritty Angels take on struggling Eagles

As the vortex continues to sway Ndejje one day presenting a poor offense and the other presenting a team of extra ordinary performers, its difficult to tell what will happen this season. The University side’s gritty play has helped them win games and lose some fighting hard. Angels (3-3) fell short to Power by 7 points after losing grip in the second and third quarter. Angels kept it close in the first quarter and spent the final 10 minutes treaming Power lead outscoring the 24-17 but ultimately came short 69-76.

Ndejje takes on Miracle friday evening, a side that has posted just a single win this season. Eagles (1-5) also put up an extra-ordinary performance against Power two weeks ago. They kept it close but went scoreless in the final two minutes after teammate Chris Kyambadde fell flat & unconscious on the floor off Jimmy Enabu’s foul.

The side that lost to Power 88-98 looked a total contrast nine days later against KIU. Eagles offense was at a premuim in the contest as they were blown out 80-51 by KIU on Sunday evening.
There are games that Walker Obed expects his team to lose but surely not against Eagles. Donald Ssali, Ronnie Nsubuga and clutch shoot Yusuf Mohamed will have to get out of their shooting slump from the previous game to pace Eagles. Meanwhile in the womens division, Magic Stormers will play KIU Rangers in the 6:30 tip-off.
