Undefeated lightweight prize fighter Sharif “The Lion” Bogere’s world title fight against Cuban Richard Abril on November 3 at the Cosmopolitan Resort, in Las Vegas,Nevada will be aired on ShowTime.
The title fight will be a”special” Saturday night edition of ShoBox: The New Generation and will have this fight as the main featue.
Bogere goes into this fight eyeing to be the sixth Ugandan fighter to claim a world title.
“It has been a long battle to reach where I am and I am looking forward to the fight,” Bogere stated recently. “My moment has arrived and am gonna take it with both hands.”
The Las Vegas based Ugandan fighter will have to be caustious against an opponent who is an awkward technician with an ugly style to shut down exciting fighters he recently lost controversially to hot-shot Brandon Rios.
Bogere’s last three fights have not gone beyond round four and has won his last six fights in impressive fashion he goes into the title fight with a record of (23-0,15 KO) while his opponent is(17-3-1,8 KO).
