Flamboyant national midfielder David Obua, is a doubt for Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at Mandela Stadium against Harambee stars of Kenya.
The national soccer star picked up muscle injury during Wednesday’s afternoon training at Mandela stadium. According to the national coach Bobby Williamson, the player skipped training today as he rested his muscle and the medical staff are monitoring his strain ahead of the Saturday encounter with the Kenyan national side.
Obua, has scored two goals on Cranes way to their decisive game with the Kenyan national side. He is remembered for his tantrum during the Cranes game with Guinea Bissau after being subsisted and later apologising to the entire nation for his emotions during that game.
