Former professional golfer and scratch player Peter Sendawula, rekindled his past glory to claim the Orange/Castle Lite September Mug of Mugs at Entebbe Golf Club yesterday.
The home boy returned to the club house with a perfect score of 68 nett to overcome a strong field of 121 golfers from Entebbe and other clubs in the country.
Sendawula picked up 120 points for his efforts in the points allocation going into the season ender Mug of Mugs finale in November.
Group A was claimed by Atip Dup with a score of 70 nett he was not the only one basking in the limelight with John Kwon winning group B with 71 nett.
Max Rukundo kept his moment by claiming group C with a 73 nett score. Home lady Irene Nakalembe claimed the ladies group A with 77 nett.
Anne Kiconco, made sure it was an all Entebbe affair wrapping up group B with 71 nett. Guest winner Brian Mwanja 69 on count back.
