URA FC had to overturn an early scare from Calvary FC to make it to the round of 16 of this year’s Stanbic Uganda Cup.
The Tax Collectors conceded in the 16th minute and trailed at the break but returned rejuvenated after recess to win 4-1.
In the game played on Wednesday at Midigo Primary School Playground in Yumbe, Calvary FC took the lead through Nathan Oloro.
Six minutes after the break, Ibrahim Wammanah levelled matters with a thunderous effort from distance.
Second half substitute Ibrahim Dada who came on in the 71st minute replacing Norman Namanya needed only three minutes to announce his arrival.
Moses Aliro made the donkey work to set up Dada who was able to finish from close range.
Ivan Ahimbisibwe capitalized on a blunder by the goalkeeper to tap into an empty net in the 83rd minute before Dada got his second a minute to the end of the game.
URA FC join Pakwach Young Stars FC, NEC FC, Vipers SC, Express FC, BUL FC, SC Villa, Busoga United FC, Soltilo Bright Stars FC, Young Simba FC, KCCA FC, Pajule Lions FC, Kitara FC, Iganga Young FC, Dove FC and Police FC at the round of 16.
