Ghana U-20 national team will face Uganda U-20 (The Hippos) in the men’s football final of the 13th African Games on Friday, 22nd March 2024 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The confirmation comes after the semi-final duels played on Tuesday evening at the same venue.
Ghana overcame Senegal 1-0 in a well contested affair. Michael Ephson scored the all-important goal of the game in the 84th minute.

The Satellites, as the Ghana U-20 team is tagged will now face Uganda in the final this Friday.
Desmond Sakyi Ofei, head coach for Ghana U-20 team attributed the victory to hard-work and patience.
“We remained as hardworking as possible. The players were also composed and patient. We are now prepared to take on Uganda” Ofei remarked.
Uganda recovered from two goals down to win the contest against Congo 4-2 during the first semi-final.
Amour Servyl Akouala and Mignon Koto scored to give Congo a 2-0 lead by the mandatory half way mark.
Uganda Hippos recovered in the second half with a brace by Bruno Bunyaga. The two other goals came from left footer Abasi Kyeyune and the immensely gifted Hakim Mutebi.
The bronze medal match will be between Congo and Senegal.
