 All the four teams meant to play in this year’s FIVB Women Qualifiers are officially in Kampala. The 3 foreign teams Egypt, Kenya and Tanzania  plus the host nation, Uganda on Wednesday held a technical meeting where different rules and procedure were highlighted by the head of referees, Moroccan, Berrada Jaouad.

The technical meeting that took place at the main offices of the Uganda Olympic Committee was for all the participating nations’ delegations, match officials, Local Organizing Committee members, media officials and other officials deemed necessary for the eventual success of the 3 day championships.

“The team technical meeting simply signals the start of the championship”, Berrada told Kawowo Sports.

The games start with Africa’s heavy weights, Kenya taking on Egypt in the first fixture of the day tourney at 6 p.m before the home side, tagged The Lady Volleyball Cranes will kick off their journey to the FIVB World Championships with a match against  Coach Paul Bitok led Tanzania at 8 pm.

The training Schedule of the teams for the 3 days has been released as:

17th Thursday- At MTN Arena: Kenya (9 am), Egypt (10 a.m), Uganda (11pm) and Tanzania (12 pm)

18th Friday – At ISU Lubowa : Egypt (9 a.m), Tanzania (10 a.m), Kenya (11 am) and Uganda (12 pm)

19th Saturday – At MTN Arena : Tanzania (9 a.m), Kenya (10 a.m), Egypt (11 a.m) and Uganda (12 p.m)

Thursday-17th -October-2013:

6.00 pm Egypt Vs Kenya

8.00 pm Uganda Vs Tanzania

Friday-18th –October -2013:

7.30 pm Tanzania Vs Egypt

9.30 pm. Kenya Vs Uganda
