- Game 4: Eagles v Uganda – 50 over
- Match Result: Eagles 303/8 beat Uganda 130 all out by 173 runs.
Uganda’s Cricket Cranes failed the test in the first of two 50 Over games against Namibia’s Eagles, losing by 173 runs.
Cricket Cranes handed a debut to Charles Mushemeza for his first full outing, and he was handed the gloves in the absence of the injured Cyrus Kakuru.
The hosts won the toss and elected first. Uganda was solid with the ball in the first 10 overs, with both pace bowlers, Juma Miyaji and Cosmas Kyewuta, bowling with good pace and keeping it tidy. Even the change options to Riazat Ali Shah and Kenneth Waiswa did not give away much, keeping the hosts at 71/1 inside 20 Overs.

However, the arrival of Gerhard Erasmus (88) changed the innings for Namibia; he took on the bowling and that raised the scoring rate. His half-century came off just 49 balls, and that deflected the Cricket Cranes with Namibia scoring 232 runs in the final 30 overs.
Cosmas Kyewuta (3/43) was the pick of the bowlers on a tough day in the field for the visitors.
In the run chase, Reuben Trumplemann (4/27) got rid of the Cricket Cranes cheaply to leave the visitors reeling at 15/3 inside three overs and from there on, they were chasing the game.
The high pace of Trumplemann has been a problem for the Cricket Cranes in the series, and it continued to wreak havoc for the top order.
Anas Baig (25), Kenneth Waiswa (20) and Juma Miyaji (36) offered some fight back, but it was only to make sure the score is respectable.
The visitors will have to regroup before their second and final game of the series on Wednesday.
