Uganda Premier League side Vipers SC has confirmed the signing of exciting midfielder Joel Sserunjogi.

He becomes Vipers’ maiden signing in the ongoing transfer window. Sserunjogi joins the Kitende-based side after running down his contract at KCCA FC.

The development was confirmed today, Wednesday July 1, 2026 via the club’s official website.

“Vipers SC are delighted to announce the signing of Uganda Cranes midfielder Joel Sserunjogi on a three-year contract,” the statement partly reads.

He joins Vipere as one of the club’s statement signing ahead of the new season, strengthening a squad preparing ahead of a busy schedule.

Vipers will take part of Uganda Premier League (UPL), Uganda Cup, CECAFA Kagame Cup, and the CAF Champions League.

He is well known for his exceptional passing range, work ethic, positional awareness and calmness under pressure that he showed while at KCCA.
