Russia 2018 World Cup Qualifiers (Group D): Senegal 2-0 Cape Verde
Forward Moussa Sow perfectly rewarded the faith vested into him by head coach Aliou Cisse when he scored one of the goals for the Terenga Lions in the home 2-0 victory of the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Keita Balde scored and provided an assist for Sow as Senegal brushed aside Cape Verde at the Stade Leopold Sedar Senghor, Dakar on Saturday.
The 2002 World Cup quarter finalists broke the deadlock mid way through the first half as Mane combined with Balde.
The latter, now at Lazio beat two defenders before finding the far post with a delightful shot just inside the area amidst wild celebrations by the home fans.
