Speaking to Altitude Sports Radio, he said; “We feel like we were disappointed, we wanted a better result… However that’s our fortress and we got a point, its better than nothing.

“Minnesota is a team which is going to get better with time, and we knew they were going to come defending for their lives, which they did in the second half after they scored but still we could have done better,” the Man of the Match added.

The Rapids got two bye weeks and Mastroeni’s side will return for a road contest at Sporting Kansas City on Sunday, April 9.
