What started as a joke spread swiftly like a wild fire. Many tagged it as a rumour but eventually became a reality.

Tom Masiko’s departure from Uganda Premier League champions KCCA Football Club was lest expected at the time.

Eventually, the midfielder who had served the club for 8 seasons finally departed for Vipers Sports Club.

He remains a club legend having duly served to perfection.

In a glowing tribute, Masiko has hinted on a life journey at the club where his father Charles Baket Masiko served.

He lauds the father, special teammate Ivan Ntege, the fans and former manager Abdallah Mubiru whom he lauds for trusting him since the Kibuli S.S days.
