Kutchi Tigers maintained their hold onto second place after defeating Charity by 169 runs.
Charity gave it a good fight but Kutchi was too strong on the day scoring 371/3 with Shantilal Raghvani (164) and Ronak Patel (106) finding another century.
In reply Charity could only manage 202 all out Simon Ssesazi (81) and Jonathan Ssebanja (49) delaying the inevitable.
The win keeps Kutchi unbeaten in the second round and within touching distance of table toppers Damani.
Meanwhile, Strikers held their nerve in Buddo to snatch a win from jaws of defeat against SKLPS in Buddo by 2 runs.
With close rivals ACC playing Wanderers in Entebbe, Strikers needed to win and fend off ACC in the race for promotion.
Strikers did just enough to win by 2 runs and their last game against Premier is what stands between promotion and staying in Division 2.
ACC saw off Wanderers in Entebbe by 107 runs and the win kept them in touch with Premier and Strikers. ACC will be hoping that Premier can do them some favours by holding back Strikers.
Tornado fell to Jinja SS by 60 runs dragging them into the relegation dog fight.
On Saturday, Joshua Mwanja (105) turned back the hands of time scoring his 3rd century of the season for Kampala Pirates against JACC in Jinja. Pirates eventually defeated JACC by 111 runs to stay firmly on top of Division 3.
Mwiri went down to the school kids of Nyakasura in Buddo by 20 runs. Quaraish Kasujja (40) tried to led from the front but wasn’t enough as his Mwiri team went down by 20 runs.
