Bogere is ranked number 3 by the World Boxing Organisation and number 18 in the World Boxing Council in the lightweight division.
The Las Vegas based prize fighter is poised to challenge for a world title fight this year however it is early to know which world champion he will be challenging in the year. “He has a good management team around him and they have nurtured him well, but at the same time he is a good listener and is highly regarded in his division,” Mindra, who is a member of the WBC ratings committee said. “I believe his moment has arrived and we should see him become a world champion for Uganda.”
