Kipsiro, Mutekanga how out empty handed
Another Ugandan Moses Kipsiro has failed to clinch a medal at the ongoing IAAF world indoor Championships in Istanbul Turkey. Kipsiro who clocked 7:49.59 finished seventh overall out of the 12 runners in the finals of the 3000m.
The race was won by Kenyan born and American runner Bernard Lagat.
The 37 year old who won the race  two years ago in Doha Qatar Lagat managed to record 7:41.44 which is his season best.

Augustine Kiprono Choge and Edwin Cheruiyot Soi from Kenya won Bronze and Silver respectively. After Julius Mutekanga’s failure yesterday in the 800m semifinals, Kipsiro and the former will set their eyes on the London Olympics that they have both qualified for alongside other seven athletes.
