Express FC in a litmus test against KCC

Express FC’s title credentials are on a litmus test this Friday when the Wankulukuku based side take on rivals KCC FC in the first of the two games to be telecast live on SS9 East. Sam Ssimbwa’s side that has surprised lots in the soccer fraternity by clinging on to the top half of the league currently lies 3rd on the table with 44 points just three less than table leaders URA FC with a game in hand over the tax collectors and two over second placed Proline FC.
Striker Erias Ssekisambu who has been a revelation under Ssimbwa is expected to lead the hunt for goals alongside Julius Ogwang. Midfield gem Kavuma Willy and Hashim Ssempala will patrol the midfield as the centre back pairing of Kasozi Bob and Katongole Henry keeps thing tight at the back. U-20 internationals Jamal Salim and Lutimba Yayo are expected in goal and midfield respectively.
Defender Jjuuko yusuf is expected to face his former employees at right back if Ssaka Mpiima does not recover in time for the derby. Striker Andy SSekayombya has a 50-50 chance of making the squad after suffering an injury in the 1-0 to Hoima-Busia in the yellow lads last league outing. Ocaya Joseph is expected to run the show at left back with Jimmy Kakooza and Ivan Ntege patrolling the midfield. The first leg tie at Wankulukuku ended in a barren draw.
