Edward Golola’s title chasing Bunamwaya SC is back in action when they host struggling Hoima-Busia FC at Buikwe this afternoon in a game they must collect maximum points to remain in contention for the league title. The Wakiso based side regained their groove on Tuesday beating Masaka LC 3-0 at the same stadium having experienced a blip when they went four winless games.
Ceaser Okhuti returns to the side from suspension and will lead the hunt for goals along side Tony Odur and brace hero in their last league outing Martin Muwanga. With Hamza Muwonge in camp with the Cranes, Joseph Ssebuliba may be given a rare start in goal. Luwagga Kizito, Kimuli Robert, Simon Sserunkuma, Wadada Nicholas are all fit for the clash.
With Peter Oguttu’s side playing their fourth game in eight days, it would be a tall order asking them to leave Buikwe with anything. They have only rested for a day having played and lost 1-3 to Masaka LC FC on Friday and there is no doubt fatigue has hit the team. The league’s latest entrants will have to rely on Isiko Ayub and Martin Mugabi to lift them in the tie. Bunamwaya SC currently lie second on the 16 team log on 47 points level on points with Express FC but has a superior goal difference while Hoima-Busia is third from the bottom with 21 points.
