Nile played out a stalemate with Charity Trust Fund in the Multiple Industries’ cricket league duel at Kyambogo Oval last weekend. After sharing the spoils, they face title hopefuls Wanderers in a crunch 50-over tie at Lugogo Oval on Sunday. Nile, who boast of 28 points and skipper Martin Ondeko believes his side can pull off a shock.
“They are not any different from us, we can win this game” he told Kawowo Sports prior to his batting session on Friday. “We managed to beat the champions Patidar, so we can do it” Ondeko, who hit 40 runs in the previous game, added. Wanderers are just six points behind leaders Tornado. New batting national team coach is expected to feature for Nile.
