Uganda Open winner Philip Kasozi ended the season on a high by claiming the MTN Mug of Mugs at the par 72 Kitante golf course on Saturday.
Kasozi was in tip top form blowing a field of over 120 golfers to return with a gross score of 75 on count back and beating off John Basabose to runner-up.
Uganda Golf Club vice captain Paul Baite, was winner in group A with 70 nett with Allan Mugisha capturing group B with 65 nett.
The Mug of Mugs tournament brings the end of the golfing season at Uganda Golf Club and on the Uganda Golf Union.
Allan Nfamba claimed group C with 73 nett. Jenina Nasimolo won the Ladies group A with 70 nett while Sheila Kesiime, maintained her form to win grouo B with 71 nett.
Rwanda’s Jean Baptiste Hakizimana, beat 21 professionals to claim the top spot in the professional series with a 137 gross score.
