Zambia coach Patrice Beaumelle on Sunday named his 20-member 2013 Cecafa Cup team prior to departure on for Kenya.
The team includes 12 players who were part of the victorious 2013 Cosafa Cup team in July on home turf against Zimbabwe in Ndola and has only one foreign based player Kabaso Chongo who plies his trade with DR Congo giants TP Mazembe.
Green Buffaloes midfielder Felix Katongo is the only familiar name on the team alongside Power Dynamos goalie Joshua Titima.
Two players will not make the trip due to injury and they are Arrows goalkeeper Daniel Munyau and his club mate Bruce Musakanya.
Zambia are taking part as guest team at the Cecafa cup that will run from November 27 to December 12 in Nairobi.
Beaumelle’s team is in Group B together with Burundi, Somalia and Tanzania whom they face in their opening Group B match on November 28 in Machakos.
