Uganda 1 – 0 Rwanda

Ugandan striker Dan Sserukuma has rewarded  Coach  Milutin Sedrojevic’s faith in him as he has scored a late great strike to hand Uganda  hard fought 1 – 0 win over perennial rivals, Rwanda.

The diminutive but tricky striker, who turns out for Kenyan Premier league Champions, Gor Mahia capitalized on a late defensive lapse in the Rwandan back line to net the only goal of the match in a match played at Nyayo national stadium in Nairobi.

Both sides had played to a barren half – time draw as heavens again set loose shortly after the opening 10 minutes of the game whose result means that Uganda is now second on the group C log after Sudan overcame Eritrea in the first group match played at Machackos county stadium.

CECAFA GOtv rewarded Rwanda’s left back, Ismael Nshutiyamagara with the star of the day accolade after his solid defending and excellent game reading throughout the game.
