It will be a battle for the Sharks, Whales and Crocodiles as the inaugural Emerging Stars under 19 girls’ 7s tournament takes center stage at the Dam Waters Stadium in Jinja this Saturday.
“The tournament kicks off at 11am and 6 teams will be taking part”, Hellen Buteme, an organising official confirms. Some of the teams include, the Dam Waters Crocs (Jinja), Entebbe Sharks, Entebbe Whales, Kyadondo Eagles (Kampala), Police Teargas Rangers (Jinja) and Walukuba (Jinja).
Dam Waters Crocs, Police Teargas Rangers and Walukuba make their debut to competitive rugby while Entebbe Sharks, Entebbe Whales and Kyadondo Eagles have played in the last 3 UWRA 7s junior tournaments.
Bar the scaring names on card, this tourney full of exciting rugby action.
