Its been a dismal outing for Uganda and Nepal at the ICC World Cup Qualifier in New Zealand.

But like earlier predicted, the two sides which qualified after finishing second and first respectively at the ICC World Cricket League Division III in Bermuda last year, were going to be the whipping at the final road to the 2015 ODI World Cup.

Neither of the two outfits managed a single victory at the event and aside from both finishing bottom in their groups, they were both relegated back to third grade.

It is clear Nepal skipper Paras Khada and Ugandan counterpart Davis Karashani have been let down by the below par shifts in the batting.

And yet their bowling has not been exceptional as well. The two sides will now face off in a ninth-place play-off decider at the Bay Oval 2, Mount Maunganui on Tuesday morning.

To both sides, its a chance to salvage some pride after being exposed by the best ICC Associate sides.

But the tie is even more important to Uganda as they will aim to revenge the six-wicket loss to Nepal in the Div. III final last May in Bermuda.
