Sweden based middleweight Hassan “The Hitman” Ssaku, landed a double punch onto his opponent Bartlomiej Grafka and referee Ake Johansson in a four round non-title fight that he won on a unanimous points decision in Rocklunda, Vasteraas in Sweden on Saturday.

The Ugandan prize fighter landed a powerful right hook to the body of Grafka that sent him tumbling to the canvas, but the referee was also caught in the action thus sending him to the floor with the opponent at 7 minutes and 10 seconds in the second round.

“It was just when the bell went , I was coming to separate the boxers when I was knocked down and fell on my leg,” Johansson said. “I ended underneath him and thought now I have a broken something.”

Johansson was replaced by seasoned referee and judge Mikael Hook, who once officiated the fight between Russian giant Nikolai Valuev and Evander Holyfield in 2008.

Ssaku is now (12-10-0, 9 KOs). He is one of several Ugandan boxers based in Sweden the others are Abdu Tebazalwa, Peter Ssemo and Michael Obin.
