Africa Junior Championship:

World Mountain Running Junior champion, Stella Chesang and World Junior 5000m Champion, Joshua Cheptegei are expected to lead the Uganda national team of six athletes to the Africa Junior Championships due March 7 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
The team is scheduled to leave on Monday evening and they are expected to return to Kampala on March 9.
The team will comprise of 3 women; East Africa Junior gold medalists Moureen Banura (100m/200m and Aneno Suzan (400m/800m), Chebet Esther (800m)and World Mountain Running Junior Champion Chesang Stella (3000m/5000m) and 3 men; Olympic youth 800m silver medalist Goeffrey Balimumiti (800m/1500m) and World Junior 5000m gold medalist Champion Joshua Cheptegei.

The team returns to Kampala on March 9.
