Uganda boxing great Justin Juuko, has added his voice on the much anticipated “SUPER FIGHT” between undefeated WBC, WBA super welterweight champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Phillippine super star WBO World Welterweight champion Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao on May 2 at the MGM Grand Las Vegas, Nevada.
“You know I have fought Floyd for the WBC super featherweight titles on a 72 hour notice and lost that fight, but at the same time I also have sparred with Manny here at the Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, USA for around 60 rounds so I believe this fight will be a very tight fight,” Juuko stated in a message. “The two have total different contrasting styles and the one who uses it better will have advantage in this Mega Fight.”
Juuko, a former Commonwealth super featherweight champion has faced some of the greatest fighters in his career they include Mayweather, Miguel Cotto, Diego “Chico” Corrales(RIP), Carlos Hernandez, Ernesto Zepeda.
Mayweather is currently training with South Paw fighters and he has brought Zab Judah to spar with him and a couple of others so he is trying to mix the styles cause Manny is a South Paw and can be very effective with his style. If I was given the chance to spar with any it would be Manny because we share almost a similar style.
Boxing Hall of Famer trainer Freddie Roach, is training Manny at the same gym where Juuko works as trainer for boxers. Roach has also handled and trained the Ugandan prize fighter during his hey days.
