In one of his most outspoken songs released, footballing musician Eddy Kenzo choruses the word ‘Stamina’ with corresponding energetic dance strokes.

The Bet Award winner (Kenzo beat Cassper Nyovest (South Africa), Mzvee (Ghana), George The Poet (London), Mic Lowry (Liverpool) and the Novelist from London) will be up to the ‘stamina test’ himself as he takes to the field of play to celebrate the footballing career of another living legend, Hakim ‘Boda Boda’ Magumba.

Kenzo will play in the curtain raiser as SC Villa fans battle the team of sports journalists under the umbrella, Uganda Sports Press Association (USPA).

“Eddy Kenzo is a great friend of Magumba and a die hard SC Villa supporter. He will play and sing for the fans as well” Isaac Mukasa, one of the organizers confirms.

The former Uganda Cranes international midfielder Magumba will then play with friends in his team against the current SC Villa team.

Current FUFA Chief Executive Officer, Edgar Watson Ssuubi, James Odoch, David Obua, Jackson Mayanja, Hassan Mubiru, Wasswa Bbosa, Phillip Ssozi, Timothy Batabaire, Fred Tamale, Willy Jamil Kyambadde, Nestroy Kizito, George Ssemwogerere and the like have all confirmed.

Magumba remains one of the best midfielders to grace the football scene for mazy runs on and off the ball.

He played with Iganga Town Council, Sports Club Villa, Atraco in Rwanda before featuring for Kira Young at the dawn of his career.

He made a come back to the his ‘home’ at Villa Park and won the Uganda Cup with the Jogoos after SC Villa beat Kampala City Council 3-0 in the re-play of the 2014/15 Uganda Cup.

He is currently an Airtel Rising Stars football ambassador and plans to start a football academy with the proceeds realized from the project.
