Golola Talent Academy Fundraising Fight: 30th October 2015

All is set for the Moses Golola Academy fundraising boxing bout between the motor-mouthed Ugandan and his Egyptian opponent, Saber Abdelgani at Hilton Hotel, Nakasero in Kampala on Friday night.
At the weigh-in event held on the bout eve at HTB Hotel, Golola was two kilograms heavier than the Egyptian he returned 74kg compared to Abdelghani’s 72.5kg.
In his typical vocal fashion, Golola warned the Egyptian about a three round knock-out;
I will return Abdelgani to the Egypt which is the promised land like the Bible said. I will first study him in the opening two rounds before i finish him off in the third. I am Moses Golola of the New Testament.
Under-card Fights:
Meddie Ssebyala, who weighed 71kgs will take on Kenyan Patrick Amote (72kgs).
Anderson Sifuna (57kgs) will battle Edward Kakembo (also weighed 57 kgs).
Mustapha Mongolia (68kg) battles Ken Lukyamuzi (69kg).
Sula Segawa (60kg) will take on Hakim Waibale (61kg).
Female Bouts:
There are two female boxing contests lined up to spice up the night.
A vastly experienced Swedish born Sandra Karlsson (50kg) will fight against Hajjara Nakazzi. Karlsson has held 25 fights before whilst Nakazzi will be playing her first ever boxing bout.
Kenyan, Joyce Awino (62kg) battles Diana Turyanabo (66kg)
According to the fight promoter, Maureen Mulangira, the bout is intended to raise funds for the Golola Talent Academy in Kazo.
Preparations have progressed well for the two fighters and the other under-card bouts planned on the day with proceeds geared towards the Golola Talent Sports Academy.
The fights are under Intersport International Promotion with the full blessing of the Uganda Professional Boxing Commission (UPBC).
