CHAN 2016: January 16th to February 7th 2016

Ahead of the kick off for the 4th highly anticipated Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tourney, the referees who will officiate at the event will undergo the mandatory fitness tests on Wednesday, 13th January 2016 in Kigali.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) named 34 referees for the tournament that starts on January 16 through to February 7 2016.
A statement released by CAF indicates the fitness tests will be conducted three days to the tournament kick off;
The fitness tests for the referees at CHAN 2016 will take place on 13th January 2016 in Kigali
Host Rwanda is pooled in Group A alongside Morocco, Cote d’Ivoire and Gabon; Group B has DR Congo, Cameroon, Ethiopia and Angola; Group C is composed of Tunisia, Niger, Guinea and Nigeria whilst Zimbabwe, Zambia, Uganda and Mali make up Group D.
Matches will be held in four cities namely Remera, Nyamirambo, Huye and Rubavu for the tournament.
