Three Tunisian international players, Aymen Mathlouthi, Aymen Abdennour and Wahbi Khazri have been selected part of the the 2015 Maghreb dream team by France Football magazine.
The African stars joined four Algerians Ghoulam, Brahimi, Mahrez and Slimani and four Moroccans Foued Chafik, Mehdi Benatia, Issam El Adoua and Hakim Ziyech who also made appearances on the list.
Aymen Mathlouthi was influencial in ES Sahel’s win of the CAF Cup in 2015 and with Tunisia who are second with Liberia at the AFCON 2017 qualifiers behind Togo and have qualified for the group stage of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
Aymen Abdennour was named best Tunisian football player in 2015 by TAP best athlete poll while Wahbi Khazri, a 24-year-old was also regarded by France Football as one of the best players in the French League.
He has been a key player in the Tunisian team with whom he played most of the qualifying games of the AFCON 2017 and the preliminary rounds of the 2018 World Cup too.
