Democratic Republic of Congo has released the final 23 man squad for the 2016 Championship of African Nations (CHAN) slated to kick off in Rwanda starting next week.

Head coach, Florent Ibenge named the team with AS Vita having a lion’s share with eight of their players named on the team.

Traditional giants, TP Mazembe has contributed three players; a defender Kimwaki,  Bope a midfielder and one striker, Jonathan Bolingi.

Other clubs with players are; DCMP, F.C Rennaissance, Lupopo, F.C MK, Don Bosco and Shark XI football club.

The team is pooled in Group B and will be based in Huye, alongside Angola, Ethiopia and Cameroon.
