Warriors vs. Pirates – Legends, 4.30pm
After putting up tremendous displays in their opening ties of the 2016 Rugby Premiership, no one predicted that Black Pirates would stumble against teams like Ezeey Money Rhino.
But, the men in black and green condemned Pirates to their second defeat of the season with a 03-00 win last Saturday.
The game against their other Legends counterpart, Mutoni Warriors, is one from which Pirates will be looking for not just a win but a commanding victory to get back their winning mentality.
Head coach, Anthony Kinene earlier revealed that the hunger and desire shown by his charges in the first half of the season was that of a side capable of lifting the league title; however, their exhibition last Saturday were of a young and inexperienced side.
For Mutoni Warriors, the relegation monster in just within the compound and they need each and every point from all their remaining games if they are to survive the knife.
With 6 points from their first ten games, Warriors lie 9th on the ten-team log, level on points with bottom side Gulu Elephants.
