The 2016 Buganda Masaza cup continued with a series of matches at various play grounds around the vast Kingdom.

At the Kasenyi play ground in Mubende, Buwekula condemned favorites Busujju to a 1-0 loss, their first in the tournament so far.

Gomba were 2-0 winners against visiting Singo at the Kabulasoke play ground.

Singo, coached by Abdallah Mubiru is yet to win a single fixture this term – a feat that casts a big shadow on their aspirations of defending the title they won under Shafiq Bisaso last year.

At the dusty Kasana play ground in Luweero, Phillip Obwinyi’s coached Bulemeezi triumphed 3-0 against Bugerere.

This was the biggest victory registered on the day.

At the Masaka recreational stadium, Buddu and Kabula played to a 2 all draw whilst Butambala edged Busiro 1-0 at their Nkokoma fortress.

For the third time in a row, Buvuma failed to honour an away engagement when they skipped the Kyadondo match.

Previously, Buvuma had failed to travel to Butambala and Busiro.

The organizing committee is yet to come out with an official statement regarding the state of Buvuma.

The matches will resume this coming Sunday.
