Uganda, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana will represent Africa at the 2017 World U-21 Netball championship.

This follows the African qualifiers that ended Saturday in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana. 

South Africa finished winners at the week-long tournament with a massive and enviable 14 points, accumulated from seven games played.

Zimbabwe ended with 12 points as Uganda Baby She Cranes, who fell 55-29 in the final game to South Africa finished with 10 points.

Despite finishing a distant sixth with just four points, hosts of the qualifiers Botswana still qualify as the hosts for the final world tournament in 2017.

Team Uganda returns Monday.
