Baroka FC vs Ajax Cape Town – Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, 7:30 p.m

Uganda Cranes captain Geoffrey Massa will miss the Premier Soccer League opener for his new side Baroka when they take on Ajax Cape Town on Tuesday night.

Delay for Massa to get his work and residence permits keeps him on the sidelines in the league opener.

Massa, recruited from Bloemfontein Celtic has already won a trophy at the club during a pre-season tournament.

Baroka F.C edged Kaizer Chiefs to the 2016 Fame Charity trophy following 3-0 post match penalty victory after normal time had ended goal-less.

Baroka’s goalkeeper Oscarine Masuluke was the hero of the day raising to the occasion to save all the shots.

Jacky Motshegwa, Phineus Ravhauali and Richard Matloga all scored their respective kicks from the penalty spot.

Masuluke saved kicks from the penalty mark of Willard Katsande, William Twala and George Maluleka.

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo had earlier saved the first Baroka penalty from Olaleng Shaku.

Massa, who played 55 minutes in the FAME cup final will be joined by another Uganda Cranes counterpart, Aucho Khalid.

The left footed midfielder traveled for medicals at the club and the final accomplishment of the deal details.

Like Massa, he will also not feature in the game for the ‘Bakgaga Ba Ga Mphahlele’ boys.
