Tony ‘Ten’ Odur made a surprise appearance at the Vipers’ fans day festivities held at the St Mary’s stadium on Sunday.

This was a day after his return from an unsuccessful trial stint in Lebanon.

Odur trained with teammates on Sunday morning at Kisubi and he is expected to conduct the last training on Monday ahead of Tuesday’s home game against Police at Nakivubo stadium.

The forward transferred from Express to rejoin Vipers following an offer of Shs25M.

He joins a side that already has signed Brian Kakaire, Ibrahim Kayiwa and Musa Esenu from Soana FC.

I am ready to repay Vipers’ faith invested in me with goals. The Express and Lebanon chapters are now beyond me. Lets focus upon Vipers now. I am happy to be back home.

This is Odur’s second spell at Vipers having played and won the league title in 2010 while it was Bunamwaya.

He has also played at Kampala Capital City Authority and Nkana Red Devils in Zambia.

David Isabirye is a senior staff writer for Kawowo Sports where he covers most of the major events.
