FUFA Big League results for matches played on Saturday 8th October, 2016

Gerald Nyanzi and Abdalla Iga Bajope scored for Nyamityobora in their first victory of the FUFA Big league since being promoted in May 2016.

Following two back to back losses against Kataka and Masavu , the Mbarara side rallied to earn their opening point of the league in the one all draw to Hope Doves.

On Saturday, Charles Ayiekho’s coached side required a late second half winner to record their first win of the campaign.

Elsewhere, Hope Doves required a last minute gasp own goal from Entebbe to win the match at the lake side Bugonga play ground.

In Zombo district, the home side Paidha Black Angels overcame visiting Busia Fisheries 1-0 courtesy of Victor Aweko’s goal.

At the Masaka Recreational stadium, Synergy defeated visiting Kireka United 2-0.
