Tusker will be crowned champions of the Kenya Premier League on November 19 for the 11th time, and seven days later they will face their Ugandan counterparts KCCA FC in an international friendly at Lugogo.

The match will happen on the invitational of KCCA FC as they gauge their team but also prepare for the 2017 CAF Champions League.

We want to play against the best from the region as we prepare for our continental engagements next year and Tusker are the right candidates to give us that test

Said KCCA FC’s CEO David Tamale on Friday before emphasizing that the game will also keep the team in check as they try to navigate the long league break.

KCCA don’t play again until December 3 against Proline in the Azam Uganda Premier league.

Tusker have won 11 KPL titles, three FKF President’s titles, two Kenyan Super Cup titles and two KPL Top Eight cups and will be Kenya’s representatives at the 2017 CAF Champions League.
