The Secretariat has received communication from Police FC notifying us of the closure of Nakivubo Stadium which has been their home ground. This follows the fencing off of the Stadium and demolition of the facility this morning. Accordingly Police FC being the hosting team has come up with an alternative ground, Philip Omondi Stadium- Lugogo to host today’s match against Onduparaka FC. The time of kick off remains the same and the match will be live on Azam TV. By copy of this letter, all stakeholders are here by informed of the change of Venue as a result of force majeure.
It will be Onduparaka’s second game at the astro turf in four days after losing 7-0 to KCCA on Saturday.
The Caterpillars have lost two of their league games at the Venue while the Cops’ have won once and lost the other.
