- MTN Omondi stadium, Lugogo 7pm
KCCA have an opportunity to win a fourth match in a row when they host UPDF at the MTN Omondi stadium on Thursday.
The Kasasiro appear to have put a slow start behind them and are now unbeaten in four matches.
Brian Ssenyondo’s men have since that defeat to Express on match day two drawn with Kigezi Home Boyz and picked victories over newly promoted Kataka and Ntugasaze and then four-time champions URA.
Heading into the UPDF clash, the gaffer admits that performances haven’t been superb but says results are important.
“We haven’t had the performances we want but sometimes it is difficult when you can’t score many goals to boost the confidence,” said Ssenyondo who believes game against his former bosses is an opportunity to achieve both.
He will hope that his key players led by Ivan Ahimbisibwe, Said Mayanja and Ibrahim Kasule are in fine form on the day against Hussein Mbalangu’s men who have blown hot and cold so far.
The army men stunned Express last week before falling to table leaders BUL on Sunday but on their day, they are tough to break down.
They will come into the game with belief they can shock the Kasasiro just as they did with Express and will hope Derrick Taremwa, Hussein Zzinda and other key players show up in lethal manner.
In the day’s early kick offs, Kigezi Home Boyz host Entebbe UPPC in Kamwenge while SC Villa are at home against Mbarara City in Wankulukuku.
