Police Football Club continues the quest for the first ever Uganda Cup trophy when they visit Kyetume at the Nakisunga playground in Mukono on Sunday evening.

This will be one of the three games lined up for the day as the Round of 16 stage continues.

In the last two years, Police has been eliminated at this stage, falling to Lweza and Entebbe in 2015 and 2016 respectively.

This season round, the Cops look a determined entity having started strongly with 2-0 and 4-1 victories against Maroons and The Saints respectively in the earlier stages.

In Rahmat Senfuka, William Wadri, Hood Kaweesa, Ben Ocen, Michael Birungi and the recently summoned left back Arafat Ggaliwango to the Uganda Cranes’ regional team, Abduallah Mubiru’s coached sides poses the potential threat to easily thwart a regional side as Kyetume.

The winners will progress to the quarter final to join Express, URA, Paidha Black Angels and Vipers Sports Club.
