SC Villa have an opportunity to open a four-point gap over second placed KCCA at the summit of the Uganda Premier League but must beat Bul, who they host on Saturday at Masaka Recreation Ground.
The Jogoos remain top of the table on 44 points with from 22 games but have played two more games than the reigning champions, KCCA.
Rivals KCCA haven’t won in two games in succession now but remain with the advantage and SC Villa, coach, Wasswa Bbosa who has won three of the four games he has been in charge is fully aware.
“Experience tells us we just have to win our games because that is what we have control over,” said Wasswa ahead of the game.
Emmanuel Okwi, who struck a hat trick on the club’s first game on return to Masaka, will again be the main man for the Jogoos as he targets to increase his goal tally that stands at seven from as many games.
Besides, the team also has options in Martin Kizza, Ambrose Kirya and Alex Kitaata among other key players.
For the visitors, who lie 12th on the table on 23 points have a chance to move as high as 10th if they pick maximum points.
